1. Residential Retreats – Cancellation Policy
Deposits
Non-refundable and non-transferable
Required to secure your place
Cancellations
More than 90 days before: Full refund minus deposit
30–90 days before: No refund, but credit transferable to a future event (if your place is filled)
Less than 30 days before: No refunds or credits
All cancellations must be made in writing via email or the contact form
Admin Fees
£60 (weekend retreats)
£100 (retreats longer than 3 days)
If We Cancel
You will receive a full refund of payments made (excluding travel costs)
Please take out travel insurance to protect yourself
2. Payments
Deposit required only if booking more than 90 days in advance
Full payment required within 90 days of the retreat start date
All payments must be made in GBP
If paying from outside the UK, you are responsible for any bank or transfer fees
3. Travel Insurance
It is strongly recommended that your travel insurance covers:
Retreat cancellation (including COVID-related)
Flight delays or cancellations
Lost baggage
Medical treatment, injury, and repatriation
Margherita is not liable for issues arising from unforeseen events such as:
Natural disasters, wars, or pandemics
Personal emergencies or illness
Lost or damaged personal belongings
4. Room Occupancy
Shared room rates apply only when the room is fully occupied
We will try to match you with a same-gender roommate when possible
If the room cannot be filled, you will need to pay a single supplement before the retreat
